Alfie had an amazing season where he won the Richard trophy. His 50 goals was 5 better than the next player on the list.
He was a couple of points behind Martin Havlat for the Art Ross trophy. Had he not been injured briefly late in the season he would have had a good shot at winning that also.
He also led his team to a Stanley cup and the President’s trophy
